im sick and tired of driving hours to just to find a gate with there signs! anyone else ever have this problem? must be sweet to control thousands of miles of rivers, we should start r own lumber company!

Do those still work with weyerhauser gates? I thought they asked folks to stop using those... Maybe it was just the guy that stopped by when I was using mine.

For the sake of public record Dave! They were only upset with you. You nearly ran that lady over and then took off leaving me behind. I did not try to evade them, instead I politely stayed behind to make sure that she understood I was not going to run off and that we honestly did not know we were behind a locked gate. When you finally came back she was more upset that you skeedattled ... 

Its good you did come back though, you probably would have received that ticket if you did not return and show her you were so very very sorry. Ladies like to see that emotional side of you Davie.

I know this is all a joke and no one is really doing this but it is worth mentioning that we have paddlers that work for Timber companies and the Forest Service and we would not want a funny joke to be taken the wrong way.
