If you noticed and happened to pick up a light blue shirt and a little girl's pink fleece, would you mind holding them out for me. I realized I had forgotten them when I was already consumed by the 2 p.m. eastbound traffic.
Catch your eddies,

Never mind. Rob McKibbin and Sam Grafton picked it up for me on their way back from a B.C. creeking trip. Those guys are champs.

I'm thinking because it was a really nice weekend and everyone was up at the lakes hiking and camping.  I've seen it backed up to Eagle Falls before on a 3-day weekend.

There was even a lot of traffic (Sat.) around Cascade Pass, a dead end mostly dirt road that lures you to the mountains to feed you to the flies.
More water, please.

That stop-light in Sultan has to go or be modified or something on those high-traffic weekends.

It will be worse once they put this roundabout in...

That still leaves two stop lights....On the other hand can you imagine living along Hwy 2- it would be like being held prisoner? Those folks can't leave the house without getting into that stuff. Can't run to the store for more beer at half-time, because by the time you get back the 11:00 news will be showing highlights of the game.

Oh, is that what they're doing at the intersection of 522?

I was starting to think that roundabouts would be better in Sultan than those fricking stoplights. Maybe we'll see what happens with the first one. BTW, the traffic going from 522 onto Hwy 2 Eastbound on Friday afternoons is horrible, too.

Sorry, my bad for not looking at the link first. Rice road, not 522 (I guess 522 is just a new ramp). But I don't think the new roundabout at Rice will be a bad thing: I've been stuck behind a left-turning driver before and not only is it a pain, but a real traffic hazard on "the Highway of Death."
