Has anyone ever run Box Car Canyon up on Mnt Rainier? We drove over it yesterday and it looked really cool and had plenty of water in it. Pretty commiting though and very narrow canyon.

Yes, Box Canyon has been run. It's actually the Muddy Fork of the Cowlitz. Scott Matthews had been eyeing it for years and when it finally dropped low enough one Fall.   Scott, Jon A, Chris J, and one other rappeled in and ran it. They did it as 2 teams, and there was a bit of carnage on one of the runs. Jon would have more details and first hand perspective
