Topic: Why are many rivers green color? Posted: 22 Jan 2012 at 9:16pm
Hi. It's been quite a while since I was on the water, but I had a question I was hoping one of you could answer: why are so many rivers in Washington colored green? I remember seeing the Cle Elum one time, for example, and it was prettier than a emerald!
If I remember right it has something to do with the glacial run off.
