This is the Olympic Peninsula Weekend discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the Olympic Peninsula Weekend | Trip Page

We have not decided what we will paddle.

II+-IV+ range depends on levels, doing Upper Or Lower Matheny Creek one day.

We could paddle EF Humptualips on Friday or Baker Creek or Upper Upper Middle Fork of the Satsop.

Call by Wed evening as I will be leaving after work on Thursday.

We will be meeting between 9am and 10am on Friday morning at the bridge over the EF Humptulips.
Most likely camping somewhere near there, and then meeting at 10am where FR 21 crosses Matheny Creek on Sat.

Bill,

I would like to join you all out there this upcoming weekend, but as it is we will be traveling to the chilly midwest.

I have been out there a couple times ... scouted the upper (first) gorge on the Sam's river.  This run is a bit of a mission.  The hike in plus the paddle out makes me wonder ... is it worth it?  Certainly the first major drop in the gorge is a dream.

It was a bit disappointing to find that so much of what is still being printed in Korbs book is so dated.  Needs some serious collabrative revision.

Anyrate, hope to catch up on another trip to Oly sometime this spring.  Have fun

Hey fellas
I am heading to La Push sunday for atleast 2 nights.  Will you be running anything on Sunday, Mon or Tues out that way?  Or any interest in surfing?  Let me know if you'll still be out there....maybe we can hook up
