This is the Southbound... discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the Southbound... | Trip Page

Heading south for some action on the Hood/White Salmon/Lewis/Wind etc.  Also, it is Arianne's last weekend in town before she heads to Texas, so we want to make sure and do some good stuff...

Call me or post if interested.  Right now, King Chili is good to go for a few more people.

- Leif

I'll be in the area, and I'll have my boat. I MIGHT be up for a run, if you guys want to do something ridiculously easy, I haven't been in a boat since December.

Humm...  Maybe we should bring the playboats...keep our options open.  There's certainly room on King Chili!  I'm not sure any play runs going to compete with CC Lewis or Wind or White Salmon though......

Let me know about playboat.  So far, I only packed the Habitat.  Not sure a playboat run will be in the cards this weekend - there will only really be the Wind, Middle White Salmon, and Lower Hood.

One other option, if we want a true play experience would be to head down to the Deschutes.  I see that it is at 5590 - good play level I hear.

hmm, doesn't sound like a terrible idea.  I'm pretty much up for anything.

I'm out, have fun. Be safe.
Take care Arianne, and good luck learning to fly!  I was great to meet and paddle with you the past few months. I hope Texas isn't the hell hole I remember it as. Hopefully there is a play wave somewhere that you can work out on.
  Thanks for some great trips.

Sure?
