This is the Sauk River on the 4th discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the Sauk River on the 4th | Trip Page

I have had family commitments every weekend this last month and have not gone out on the river, but I have the forth off an I want to go do some paddling! I am planning on meeting at the Clear Creek bridge at noon, and running from Whitechuck down to Buchman Park. Flows are about 16,900 now and dropping (the pp gauge is off). I am hoping they will be in the 10-14K range on Friday. I am flexable on the meeting time if noon doesn't work for some people.

The pp guage seems to be matching up with the usgs guage on the AW site.
Are these all in error?
I'm new and information is appreciated.

The gauges on PP are pulled from USGS just like AW.

Our gauges have been turned off and on at times during the last month due to malicious attacks on our server. The gauges are currently up to date but you should always check the date and time stamp of the data no matter where your browsing on the internet.

If you want the surety of browsing at the source you should go directly to USGS or the reporting agency. Like Cle Elum is done with USBR, and other gauges are maintained by city power or fish and wildlife, ect....
