I am new to the area and come from the south east and am used to paddling all of the class V rivers in the area.

I am 27 and just moved out here a few weeks ago and am looking to get hooked up with a good solid crew that boats a lot.

I am into creeks mainly and exploration, big-ish drops are always a plus.

I live in the Monroe, WA  Seattle, WA area, just hit me up I can boat most of the time.

Thanks,
Leif Ellsworth

I'm not up to your skill level but it's funny (i guess) that your name is Leif. There is another local boater named Leif. He's not on PP anymore since he got boot from the forum but you'll come across him. He's 6'8". Can't miss him.
Anyways, welcome to WA.

While we haven't paddled 5's in years, we live in Monroe and are also from the southeast.  If you ever want to have a beer and grill on the deck, and don't mind kids running around, come by some time whenever you want to talk boating.

Leif : welcome to the area, you landed in a pretty sweet spot. You right on the foot hills of the Sky valley but still close enough to I5 that you can bounce north or south without a big delay, then of course this fall and next year your going to get to know old man Robe real well. You just jot up to granite falls and your there in after work paradise. Right now your going to need to reach out to folks because the local water is getting low, which means down to hood river, up to BC or plan a trip somewhere deep.

This sat. I am going to do a day trip out on the cooper to test my wing and wet my appetite for whats left of the summer. You welcome to join me or maybe we will meet out there.

Thanks for the welcome guys,

James I am headed the Skagit to help with a race and may be able to sneak away for a little time on the cascade. Thanks for the invite and keep me in mind for your next trip, I am available on most every weekend.

I am always up for a good beer!

Thanks,
Leif

Leif
Come on over to the East side where the water is always good and the beer cold. It's tumwater season and we should have a good month or so of fun flows. You should be able to find folks boating tumwater on the weekends, check with LMS in Leavenworth and they can point  you in the right direction.
Welcome to the PNW
