Topic: Got any old broken gear? Posted: 17 Sep 2009 at 2:19pm |
UPS just moved their outdoor gear rental place, the expeditionary (Expy) to a new building. It used to be a one room shack, but it now has about 10x more space! So what does this mean? We have an opportunity to put up some kayaks and paddles or anything of that sort so all the folks know that we have the best sport when they come in to rent gear.
I unfortunately don't have anything beyond a life jacket to donate, but if anyone has some old boat or broken this or that, we'd love to take it!!!
Thanks, Gordon

haha, we'd love it Tobin! Even the cracked AT would be cool to put up, thanks! I bet we could get you a tax writeoff for the boat too if you wanted...

It's the other way around gordon... you have to give me the receipt of donation value. You get to determine the fair market value. It would be a bit untruthful to consider my jefe 1k for fair market value. Of course I am willing to negotiate

Gordon I have an old Gus that was taco'ed and recovered..... and should NEVER be on a river again. Would this be of any interest to you? There's a crack around the keyhole which would let water in but its a good pool trainer. The only reason I've kept it was for a roll practice extra, but I've never needed it. And I have no intention of fixing the crack since it should never see a river again. Let me know if you're interested and I can bring it with me to Seattle. Kirk
