Anyone interested in showing me the Green this weekend? I'm a solid class IV boater. Seen the Green twice. Once last year at normal flows and once last week at around 3500. Would love to paddle it at normal flows with someone who knows it well. I'm free most days.

Normal flows are around 3000-2000. But, it is hard to get those flows very often. I am always glad to show people down the Green anytime.

Hey Dave: what's the green like down this low? Play boats, I imagine? Would love to meet someplace tomorrow, drop my car at Paradise, hitch a ride to the put in and join you that far. Gotta think of some way to earn my keep, though.... What time and where are you guys gathering?

Thanks Dave.  If anyone out there is interested in meeting at the Paradise takeout tomorrow to set shuttle for a run on just the upper, let me know by text to 360-317-6522.  Otherwise...anyone want to shoot for Sunday?  Or Monday?

Adam, I'd definitely be interested in Monday, but I'm not the one to give any guidance on this run.  If others are available, like Dave, I'm in for sure.

There are some people going today meeting at 10:30 or 11 at Paradise.  There's also a group going Sunday meeting at 10:30 at Paradise.  I may join Sunday's trip if I'm feeling better.

Courtney, I hope you get better soon. Seems like this thing has been dogging you for a couple of months. Could this be related to your teaching program? Have you been student teaching or doing any classroom work? Those first classroom experiences always get new teachers really sick.

Hey Courtney, Sunday sounds great. I hope you feel better. I'll leave Seattle around 9 with room for extras. If anyone wants a ride. Let me know.

Ok.  I'm heading for Paradise at 10:30 tomorrow.  If anyone is running the gorge and open to a new face, I'll be joining.  Otherwise, I guess I'll hike down to the ledge and see if I can get into any trouble.  If anyone wants to join, or wants a ride from Seattle, I'll be leaving Queen Anne around 9am.
Hope to see you out there, Courtney.

 Cheers!

   Hi Adam,
I still don't feel well this morning.  It's not classes, it's just my kids bringing it all home and of coarse Jimmy too.  We get sick and then are better for several days or weeks and then we're sick again.  Believe it or not though it's been getting better each year. I read this morning that the group heading to the Gorge this morning may not be going after all so I'm not sure what's happening there.  I did hear that there is a lower gorge group putting on at 11.  I really hope you find someone to paddle the upper with.  Good luck!! I'd be up for getting out there tomorrow (Monday). It's on the low-ish side, but there are still some fun lines and it tends to be more technical. Anyone?
