I am planning on doing this run next month when it drops into a good level, but as most of my kayaking friends moved to colorado this spring, I am seriously lacking V+ paddling partners. If anyone of you have done it and wanted to return or always wanted to get on it, give me a call.

Last year the word was that thing was one big log jam. Could be different this year, but be advised you will likely be the one to find out.

It sounded like enough portaging for me to not even consider looking at it.

You would be correct. When it comes to 10 to 15 lame ass wood portages I am lazy. When it comes to actual kayaking, not so much. I prefer to leave the scouting and exploration to the real men. I will paddle it when I know I dont have to get out of my boat every other paddlestroke.
