Not sure were you live, or what your looking to do, but Id be down to paddle the Cle-Elum or at least some parts. Tripple falls to the gorge, but not the gorge itself unless it looks safe. ???

I am in Seattle, sorry should have clarified. Looking to paddle 3(4). Cle Elum is a haul and I know nothing about it, but I am not ruling it out.

Seattle, thats a bit of a drive. Cle Elum is solid 4 with a few 5's. China gorge being the hardest. check out the describtion at http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/detail/id/2093/

I would say the days for the cle elum are well over. Last weekend there was enough water that you could scrap down it and then get a nice fat lap on the cooper, but this weeks looking bleak for china gorge, even below it is going to be elf'n.
