So I lost a boat on the lower Matheny. It's a red Jackson Super Star. The boat should be located on the right bank about half way down. I attempted to go in yesterday to get it but I ran out of daylight and I probably won't have time to go in there for a while. I lost the boat at the put in when I fell and the boat decided it wanted to go for a swim without me. I swam after it... but i was unsuccesful... so I became shuttle bunny.

I would go back in there and get it but I'm leaving town and won't be back until March... I wish I could go back in and get it, but I have to work all week and leave on Saturday. It's a sitting duck.

if you run the river you will see the red boat on the right at the log jam between the 2 canyons (its hard to miss)..... but the thing is it that it has no float bags, so when we pulled it out of the log jam we did not want to try and float it down the second canyon cuz it would most likely pin someplace worse , so we put it up as high as we could on river right .... if you wana get this boat you are gona have to hike it out or bring float bags and some kinda cockpit cover and roll the dice floating it out ... we go to Matheny alot and plan on trying to float it out next time we go, if no one has gotten it yet
