Since I may be heading up to Alaska I have been looking at rivers up there and came across this wesite:

Some oldies, but certainly classic footage.

No, but I paddled a Stikine, and that's about as close as I'll come unless I get to do heli-support.
It was log and could easily Stick een holes sideways
but oh so soft pencil landings.
There was a national geograpic special on a few years back that was saweeeeet!

I have watched several online video's about the stikine but for some reason I don't think that is what Jon was getting at.

Although there is some wicked looking stuff in the video's nothing seems to be out of the ability of several people I know, including you Jon!!!!

Some of those higher flows looked like some big water. The biggest downside for me is that is when the arm decides to separate from the shoulder.

I think the the biggest problem is the long drive, unable to know the flow prior to getting there, and the level can dramatically increase while on the trip.

What about the TRL guys or Bennett have they done any of the triple crown?

or Homathko?

Man some serious wilderness... I would really enjoy that as a vacation.
