I have a couple pinhole punctures in my drysuite booties. I'm thinking of just using bicycle patches and duct tape to repair them. Anyone know a reason why this would be a bad idea? It seems too simple of a problem to send back to Kokatat.

WTF is with you jackasses who spell "drysuit" with a "e?"

A "suite" is by definition a grouping.  Of rooms, musical movements, people, whatever.

Ever worn a business suite? Or, perhaps you've been involved in a lawsuite?  Regardless, I guess you should use whichever spelling suites you lol.

If your booties are goretex or latex, aqualseal will handle pinholes just fine.  I wash the suit and dry it, then use aquaseal + cotol on the inside of the suit to patch.  If you're worried about the outside, you can try a goretex patch, but I've found they just won't adhere to the booties, as they get too much abuse.

I wish mine just had a pinhole. I've got duct tape sealing a pencil diameter seal leak in my booties.

Try wearing GoreTex socks over or under your booties...I have done this in the past with leakey feet.  The socks cost about $30 and have a quilted liner, sold by Cabela's.  Who could argue with 2 layers of goretex on your feet?  These socks may add life to your drysuit booties if you wer a second pair over the top....

Leting 'em hang low or throwing them over my shoulder won't work in this case. Dang things are just too big. Why do ya'll think I'm never in my playboat? I need the storage space in my creeker.
