The season has "officially" opened for FITW.  Level was good today, call it the good side of High.  Would've been a good day to link FITW, Franky's and the Denny stretch, as one deal.  If someone is up for that, let me know.

The run was mostly clean of wood, and the snowbanks weren't too bad.  One new overhanging tree just above Rootball (which still has the same wood as last year).  Really just need to chop one branch to be able to run under it.  If someone gets motivated to chop the whole tree, please make sure to secure it so it doesn't screw up Rootball or the Big Slide, since those are still runnable now.

That's about it.  You still have to walk in from the top, but the road has been plowed.  A few guys with snow shovels could make quick work of the berm at the top, since someone already 4 wheeled around one side of it.  There's also still a small berm at the bottom, below Denny Cmpgrd.

Nick - Saw your gage.   Looks like the staff or pipe fell in, though.

JD, if the pipe was in the water, but still attached to the wall then it's good.  If not let me know.  Give me a shout with a little more description and I'll go fix it.  For those interested, the lines are in 6 inch increments, with the first white line being even with the bottom of the cup in the gage rock.

Headed up to FITW for some laps this evening.  Come out for some after work goodness if you can make it.
