Low water fun.
joined CB for some after work boating on tuesday. The Umatilla was LOW, under 200 cfs. That said, it's still an awesome run at that level. The put in mini spin hole was in great form, and I was linking up all kinds of spins without much effort. The middle slide/riffles are really shallow, but if you know where to go you can get through without much scraping. We went on down through the final ledges, and started doing laps on those, taking turns and giving each other feedback on our boofs. To top it all off, the trail back up to the top of the ledges had some nice ripe mullberries. There might not be a ton of boating out here, but the backyard run provides a great training ground for a number of things.
