As many of you may know I
am an administrator of ProfessorPaddle.com. Over the years of
boating I have learned a lot, met a lot of great people and paddled a lot
of great rivers. I created this site and this system of personal pages,
because I always saw this as a fun way to meet people and get out on
the river. I don't think anyone really gives a crap though!
For those of you that are curious, why the name?
It actually started as a musing between a bunch of friends. We started
out with looperduper and ended with ProfessorPaddle. Although it
started out with just fun sounding names, it has become much more than
that.
For me ProfessorPaddle.com has nothing to do with lectures or pretending that I am educated instead it simply has to do with the root of the word. To "Profess".
Now a days with a family taking form you might not see me on the river in full force but don't think my mind is not boofing off some fluffly ledge while I am rocking a baby to sleep or soul surfing in a day dream with a bottle in the other hand... Some day these kids will be out there with me, and until that day comes.... I'll see ya when I see ya!
