In summary - this is a liability insurance that covers us as club, volunteers and festival participants for claims for damage from third parties, including participants.
Here is ALLSPORTs website: http://www.allsportinsurance.com/
ALWAYS REMEMBER - YOU are responsible for YOUR Safety. All participants will be required to sign waiver. Kayaking is inherently dangerous... and addictively Fun!

We've had some questions about the border, don't let it stop you! I am pasting herein some pertinent information.
Requirements for International Travel
Entry into Canada
is solely determined by Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) officials in
accordance with Canadian law, see http://www.cbsa.gc.ca
for details. Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada
must carry both proof of citizenship and identity.
If you are a citizen of the United
States, you do not need a passport to enter Canada;
however, you should carry proof of your citizenship such as a birth certificate,
certificate of citizenship or naturalization or a Certificate of Indian Status,
as well as a photo ID. If you are a permanent resident of the United States,
you must bring your permanent resident card (i.e. green card) with you. For
more information on admissibility into Canada,
read the fact sheet called Managing Access to Canada. It is available on our Web
site at www.cbsa.gc.ca.
ENTRY/EXIT REQUIREMENTS: U.S. citizens traveling to Canada are required to show U.S.
Government-issued photo ID and proof of U.S. citizenship, such as a birth
certificate.
The U.S. Department of State recommends traveling with a
valid U.S.
passport to avoid delays or misunderstandings. A lost or stolen passport
is also easier to replace when outside of the United States than other evidence
of citizenship.

This run is just a hour from Bellingham and we paddle it all the time
during the spring runoff and during rain events. The Chili is a
awesome river with some really good play and nice clear water. I
recommend people head up there and check this zone out.
As for the border, I cross it about 20-30 times a year using only my
passport and have had very little trouble, they like us kayakers (keep
it that way) going up and spending money in thier amazing
country. Many others have used a birth cert. and a drivers
license with no hold ups.

Better driving directions and high quality maps added to the Festival website.
Also check the document for camping information and the safety information.
Had a few inquiries, and YES, the Canyon will be a shuttle stop. (no guided run, this is only to be paddled 'on your own' - you are responsible for your safety at all times).
please remember to register online or mail cheque for receipt BY APRIL 27th - registration is cheaper and FREE T-shirt!
