Anyone hear anything about it?
If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.

Here's the "project flow" for ya if you want a Robe Race:

Start locking down a partner. Next, figure out what your flow range is that you're willing to race at. For example, mine just might be 5.2' - 5.8'. Not saying that's exactly what it is, just throwing it out there. I think I'd be less willing to race through Garbage if it was lower than 5.2'. Undecided. Then it's all about preparation- get out on Robe as much as possible!!!

If you KNOW you won't race, there is still need for you as a facillitator: Time keepers. seftey, photography, ect.

If you THINK you'll race, but aren't sure, perhaps you could still volunteer to help if the RIVER (yes, folks- Robe is on the S. Frk Stilly-it is a RIVER, not a creek) spikes.

Anyway, once you know your details, then it's a matter of wispering it to the Robe Gnomes, and hopefully something will happen. Stay tuned...

Where's the official to officially call it. I'll go with the safety boaters.

I will not be in the race, I just want to photograph the potential carnage!

well, basicly you're lookin at 'em. Anyone on this site who is interested can talk to me or Fish (send us a PM, call us, or talk to us at a take out near you. ), or talk to Todd Gillman directly. The word "official" doesn't really apply to this race, if you can dig it. it is VERY low key and grassroots.

He wants to get feedback from racers or volunteers who are interested. Sure a few people are needed to volunteer, and certainly photographers are welcome, but it's not a highly promoted event.

Anyway, we'll keep you posted as it developes.
