Sorry! I will blame the technology. My computer kept giving me an error message so I went back and tried again a few times and it gave me an error message each time (same as when i try to upload my avatar). I went back to the home screen - sad and dejected - only to discover that it had posted 5 times.
The River is the Green, the Headworks stretch, and it's not posting on the trips, which is where I was trying to put it. Meeting at Kanaskat Palmer at 0900. Just out to float around and screw around.

You mean I'm supposed to wear something UNDER my spray skirt? Where's the fun in that?

No sweat, I'm the one that posted the same thing 5 times. I figure that if I can't teach more advanced SK folk how to handle their boats in dynamic condition (coastal rockgardens and stompin' tide races)I may as well teach new ww boater on a fun stretch.

I just like the fact that someone used the term "cruising". Haven't really heard that much since the 80's, although the term is alive and well more back east.
Cruising generally conotes milder river running. Lots of people do it. Funny though how they are now pigeon holed into doing it in boats ill suited for it. Like, playboats and creekboats BOTH SUCK for cruising, which, to me conotes longer stretches of class II, III, or IV whitewater.

I love cruisin' these days and i do it almost exclusively in my creeker. Perhaps I should bust out my Pirouette for my next cruise... it is from the 80s after all (I think?)

Headworks is pretty mild river running. At least for me. I was cruisin' in my BD Havoc.
