We ran the lower gorge this weekend but didn't take pictures. Suffice to say the wood is a death trap.

In previous years, you could go under it at lower flows (1700cfs) but not higher flows.

You can portage right by catching one of 3 eddies, but be on your toes, because The Pinch is just around a blind corner.

Due to the death wood, I would currently recommend this section only to a solid class iv boater.
