anybody want to get out tomorrow? I was hoping it was going to rain enough for the upper green but not sure if that's still plausible. Maybe the sky? Open to suggestions / play it by ear.

Sky is on the rise. Slow to get going, but since Robe is already spiking, the Sky should too. So it'll be good tomorrow no matter how high it does or doesn't get.
Green on the other hand, I never got too dialed into its rhythms, but suffice to say it usually will be delayed till after the rain event itself. So maybe they will release from HH this week. Maybe flows will be good on the green next weekend even. Maybe some of this site's Official Green River Flow Experts will chime in w/ more detail, but it typically doesn't spring to life when all the natural fed streams do. But then its cool because after the event ends and the flows drop out, often good water can then be found on the Green!

I doubt the Green will be up tomorrow. Most weekends, the dam operators set the release level for the whole weekend on Friday evening and unless the rain comes hard enough to be a threat to really start filling up the reservoir (which is at a fairly low pool level now) I'd guess they won't make any adjustments to the outflow from the dam until Monday.

The class 3 section of the SF Stilly should be at a good flow tomorrow.. I'd be down for that if anyone's interested.

Hey Joes.
I've been wanting to get out and see that section of the Stilly for some time now. I was hoping to find it closer to 6-6.5, but it may be coming down to that range by the time we get on it tomorrow. I can do 10-11ish if your in.

Sounds good. And the level should be right in that range. Let's do it. I usually meet folks at the parking lot across the road from the Verlot ranger station. Why don't we meet there?

Works for me. Zeus is in too. We'll be there about 10:30 (mindful of the fact that we fell back an hour last night).

Right on- "Silly Stilly" sounds like a great plan for the day. In keeping w/ the thread title, first post in the thread, I'm gonna mention that there's definietly gonna be a Sky Contingent today. Lookin like noonish at Split Rock, but thats just a loose translation of multiple text messaging with multiple PPeeps...

Seems the SF Stilly area was the place to be today. Quite a few folks showed up and there were multiple groups on the Silly... some of the guys in our group went back for a 2nd lap. Even saw a raft paddling down while I was on shuttle. The gnomes chasers were out too. Saw several folks around the robe p/i and t/o and even saw a group at the put-in for the middle section of Canyon Creek. thanks everyone for coming out and hopefully it was a good time had by all.

Hey did any one lose a boat on the upper? we found a L Burn yellow in the paddle out of robe proper and it had taken a beating but Dan and I paddled it out. seemed the throw bag came loose and chalked in a rock and stopped it. talk to tiziak for details if its yours...
