Looks like my local favorites are coming up again! Anyone in for a Tuesday after work run on the Upper Green (if it comes up to 1,400cfs) or the MM (it will be up for sure). Meet at either takeout around 5 or later.
Plenty of daylight for us working folks to get some after work action!!!!

I think I'm up for a Tuesday run. I'll watch the thread to see what people decide on.

I could be talked into an after work Green run, though not a MM run.

I'm cool with the green. We'll see what the levels do. Now that I have picked up kayaking again, I think this is the first time in my life here in Seattle that I'm actually excited for rain.

I'll join in for the Green! And if you guys would rather do the MM, I will still reflexively go, because I like kayaking.

I'm interested in the middle middle; the earlier the better. It's been rising to a decent level lately.

Well, the Green guage doesn't seem to want to budge. I could get to Paradise by 5:15, and I will cave if its at least 1400. I was hoping for more push though. Maybe- the green often surprises.

MM would be cool, but it is a more epic travel for me. So I'm less likely unless I could meet Dave n carpool again.

What I really want is a Cupdate.
Yall know what a Cupdate is? If you've been boating round here the last few seasons and kept an eye on PP, if you like steep-creeking-in-miniature, then you know what a Cupdate is.

Next boater who goes over Snoqualmie pass IS OBLIGATED to stop and at least report the status of the FITWah access. How much snow is there? Likely the next hot streak will be time to strike.

I got three more weeks at my latest dead end job in Auburn. I sure would love to shoot up rt. 18 and get me some FIT Watah on my way over to sunny Lworth soon!

And FITWah is further than the M&M, but I sure would blow past Tanner to hit it up some weekday after work...

Cupdates please!

MM at 4700! What the hell happened overnight? The water seasons in this state are kinda crazy.

The snowpack's still high, the temps are mild, and it's been pouring rain for 2 days. I expected the river would come up.

I take it no one's in for the middle middle tonite. Think I'll go to flying trapeze class instead

Im not sure whats wrong with the hh dam guys, but the dam will break if they dont open up soon. The inflow is over 2k and the res level is rising. It should come up to 2 k by this afternoon.

I would love to carpool with someone from Seattle. And I agree, the Green should be coming up, so how about we make the call around noonish? Would also love to get on the Sauk, anyone game for heading that way if the Green doesn't budge?

And I would be game for the MM as well, if that's where people would rather go. Someone needs to make up their mind!

Yeah guys, you really oughtta take advantage of the Green. Upper Green at 1800 and rising is way better than practicly any flow the MM can offer. No joke (although there may be some bigger surf on the MM today- better bring a longboat to catch half of it). And the MM will be going a little while longer while the Green is gonna be shut down soon till after New Year 2013.

...and we love this place for exactly that reason!!
This time of year we get lots of rain still. Sometimes mixed with snow melt. In years past it seems to have started melting sooner, but the last few years the melt has been postponed till slightly later.

Anyway, plenty of water round here! We are fortunate.
I know the MM is higher, but it is flat, wide, and full of tiny rocks. A sandstone riverbed like the Green serves up way better goods, with its narrower channel, and a greater variety of shapes and sizes of boulders.

Paradise at 5:15. Hope to see you there. I know Dave will be there.

Okay, I'm officially bailing. If it's still in tomorrow I might be up for it then.
