Topic: Trip without your friends Posted: 12 Oct 2009 at 4:54pm |
Ok, this isn't directed towards any one person, and I may be guilty of this also in the past. So, you go on a radical sporting adventure without your friend and he cant go because he is working. You try and report back to him and he hangs up the phone because he is mad that you went. Is that messed up?

Well maybe work sucked and he wasn't in the mood for feeling worse about what he missed.
But hanging up rather than expressing it? yeah, messed up!

are you trying to tell your friend via this post that he was a tool? because that just makes you a passive aggressive tool. you two tools deserve each other

It is different when your friend that is working specifically tells you
in a conversation a few minutes prior not to call while you are doing
your little fun activity to rub it in... then you call multiple times
trying to blurt out in short bursts the fun that is being missed.

I would suggest when this happens, to text said person repeatedly about the fun that was had. Note that said person likely has text service turned off on their personal cell phone, so it is necessary to direct those texts to his or her work phone.
It's too bad the person in question doesn't have Nextel direct connect, because some fun could surely be had with that.
