Just FYI... Were here in the meeting right now...Not many people showed up, but were all still pretty ampled!!

Adam, Jeff, Leif, JP and I are ready to make this thing happen. It might be different but when has it not been.... More details will follow soon. Were looking forward to a bunch of events and were still going to need help from members of the community. Stay Tuned and when we make the rally call ... maybe respond next time.

So, how are folks doing on assigned tasks?  We should probably have another meeting next week to maintain momentum on things?

Thoughts?

I have the format down, potential judges, but the Rodeo Site will be determined last minute, dependant of flows... You know.  Its gonna be low key, no bibs, numbers, yadda yadda, and pushed on variety, not just the biggest one hit wonder.  Thats about what I am gathering from suggestions and input.  I am really going to try and find a spot that is best suited for EVERYONE.

Thinking about having 2 classes, New and Old School - kayak length will determine your catagory.  Prizes, well there will be some.

Anyone have any idea the weekends being looked at? This is my odd year off of being deployed, and I'm going to be gone again next year... Gotta try and squeeze in that year's worth of paddling in the next 4.5 months.

thedave!!!!  The best task would be to Rally as many Southerners (OR) as you can and carpool on up!  The rodeo should be fun, and I think the side loop would fall in as a Hero Move in the multiplier.

I think the winning move will be the donkey-face-swim-monkey, but only if you can 'clean' the move!

So, are the dates set? Is it 5/30 and 5/31? There's been so little talk about our HUGE GRAND event, that I've forgotten the dates, figures, too, right after Leif gets his promo time in!  Are these the dates we decided on? we should post it on the events page all fresh like. Need to block out the paddlin schedj.
