Fun times rafting in BC! I guess the 50/50 ratio applies to rafts also!

Fine Fine video! Thanks for sharing. I have added it to my list of memorable WW videos :-)

On this topic, I was at the Ashlu last weekend (Sunday, October 14th) just after it had started to rain.

The river was at Flood Stage and 50/50 was more like 100/0 by even the crazies.

The road, or rather 4x4 trail to the the play run putin was "interesting" and had landslides "washing" out the trail in multiple places. Never quite made it all the way to the putin. not quite certain my Mountaineer would have made it

Was quite a sight to see this river at flood stage

As I exited the Squamish river valley, I noticed that the forest service was blocking traffic from entering due to the Squamish flooding out the road. Apparently a couple of fishermen were also struck on the wrong side of the river and a rescue was underway

Broke up the drive back from Whistler!

You might be one of the people to last drive up there.  The river left Ashlu road was decomissioned this week (culverts and bridges removed, cross ditches dug).  The road is now blocked with large boulder and logs where it changes from the nice road to the dam to the old logging road - no more vehicle access.

If you want to run the Tatlow, play run or upper Ashlu it's gonna require some serious sweat from now on.

Wow, that's pretty horrible news about the Ashlu road. RIP, Tatlow, you'll always be one of my favorites.
