It looks like the water is still there. Therefore I'm planning on paddling down in that neck of the woods one way or another. Anyway, If you are interested in joining me for this or Canyon Creek, let me know. Call me by Friday Evening at the latest. I'm leaving Seattle about then, and plan to camp down there. So we should talk in advance about when and where to meet.
yo.

Incidently, James, I figured out the posting problem (it was my own): I tried to write something other than numbers into the duration field.

So for any of you reading this, just so you know, 999 minutes isn't a real estimate of how much time I plan to be on the water. You know, I put in at the put in and paddle to the take out. I say let the river decide how long that takes.

If the Sultan trip doesn't go I might be down for the East Fork.

Looks like the Sultan trip is a go, sorry I won't be joining you on the east fork.  It'd be nice to see it with a little more water than we had on wednesday.

Hey Mike-- sorry I never got back to you. Just for future reference, When  I post trips, you or anyone interested should just call me up (number is listed at the top with the other trip info). I'm not glued to a computer 24-7, so I ussually only log on a couple of times a week. By the end of the week I'm too busy to get online and phones are quicker. I Jam out of town on fridays to make a weekend of it if it's that far south.

The E.Frk of the Lewis Has quite a few solid IV's intermixed with III's, with a few waterfalls sprinkled on top. It's narrow, and powerfull enough to kick your ass at higher flows.

There was a lot of Driftwood down there last weekend, so watchout if you go. Apparently Driftwood doesn't roll all that well. I'd sugest a reliable roll and some boat handling skills.

It was sunny down there on Sunday (appropriately) and thus it was a magic sparling ribbon of wonder. Answer your questions?
