Here's the details regarding the trip I'm taking tomorrow night (don't have time to see if the trip planner works or not):

I'm meeting some people at Big Eddy around 5 or 5:30pm where we'll drop a car. We'll put in right below Boulder Drop (I'm going to put in above it and get my fix, if you want to join me). Paddling all the way down to Big Eddy 'cause there's a mixture of begginers and intermediates in the group who want to know the low water lines better.

That's it in a nut shell. try to reach me by 2:00pm tues afternoon (8/12) if you want to come along. great trip for those who are still learnig the Sky .

So... yeah. Um. Anyone wanna join us? I just LOVE the Skykomish River this time of year.
I think low water Sky is my favorite. Well, (and I know SOME of you won't believe me, but...) REALLY HIGH water is among my favorite levels, too, even if it makes me pucker. Perhaps because it makes me pucker.

But I digress. Right now is a great time to find new lines to run on the Sky, for those of you who have not found them yet. Those wonderfull low water routes that can be found only at summer's end, when the boulders are their biggest in the River's Bed.

I mean, I'm taking a creeker, because my "playboat" will be in use by one of the paddlers signed up for this exquisite trip (yes, that would be the Diablo). Would that I could shred the Sky's emerald glassy currents...
