Weird, I keep trying to post the trip, but it's doing something funny.   anyway, posting as a forum, rather than a trip.

I am taking the family on a camping trip over to glacier but my very gracious wife has agreed to let me get a bit of paddling in on the front end (and the back end) while she watches the kids.   Yes, she is a keeper.

I am going to spend three days at Superwave on the Kootenai, (between Libby and Troy) which is a massive wave with great eddy service.   Very choice, world class wave, only 7 hours from Seattle, right off of the highway.   Also, there is a 20 foot park and huck right there.   What more could you ask for?   Should be good level at this time by all accounts, it is dam release.

Would love to paddle it with someone, esp since I haven't done either before.   Anyone interested?   Leave on Thurs the 23rd, finish on Sunday.

bump, since for some reason this won't post as a trip-- come on, park and play on a massive wave, park and huck on a 20 foot falls, closer than the skook, someone should want to go...

I"ve been out there a couple years ago.  Its a great spot and worth the drive but I'd definitely recommend having somebody with you on the river.  Any unexpected issues could result in a pretty nasty swim.
