I was in there twice last year. The two tiered drop was really the only rapid that I noticed had changed. Wood wasn't any more of an issue than normal.
I put this together after a back to back session of hiking in there. Noticibly harder the second day...

What editing software are you using Daniel? Final cut? Adobe? Maybe some Linux version?.

Dude that first edit is rad. What difference does it make what software was used? (Only saying this to point out that...) What is really awesome is the way that clip was edited.
Just a quick comment: gopro footage w/ music slapped onto it is boring. No originality.
But Dan here tells a story. You got some stoked beats in the background, audible on the surface, and then beats give way to beatdown as the subject in question capsizes and gets chundered!
Love the way the music cuts in and out and is never audible once you are upside down- and then when you swam all audio ends altogether.
Now thats some fine editing that captures something of what such an experience feels like!

That sieved out spot at the end looked gnarlsome. Elkhorn's got some gnarlsome boulder gardens.
Can't say I miss that big Ent Zombie on River Right, either. Thats some shallow boney sh*t to deal with before a tight manky limbo move. But portaging it sucks worse.
Cheers to Matt for his editing contributions, too!

Thanks JP. I put a lot of effort into this one. This was a really fun two days, but the hike in the second day definitely wore me down to the point of making mistakes.
Oscar - I'm still in the stone age using FCP 7.

I was just curious. I guess it only matters to people who use editing software so probably a discussion to be had elsewhere.
Great videos. Keep them rolling. Very, very helpful also. I tend to watch a lot of videos, even really crappy ones of runs that I want to do. It's awesome when someone takes the time to lay one out that's good. It's hard to run some of these rapids. He'll, it's hard to even get to some of these places, let alone try to capture a good video of run. I consider it a respectable art form that is actually far more complicated then walking to your nearest camera shop and dropping money to get an instana sweet pics type of camera. In fact, you could be a professional camera man and still not be able to approach this scene. It takes devotion and time from all aspects. People are watching these videos and seriously talking through the stuff they are about to run. Keep it up dude.

Thanks man. I have a lot of fun with it. It keeps me sane during the work week while all my friends are out boating.
I only use FC because thats what I'm used to now and I'm not sure I want to put in the time and energy to learn Premier or AE. If I was starting from scratch though; I would probably give Premier a try first. Thats a great editing program.
Cheers
