Leif, what was your ratio of hours in the beast to hours in your boat? The beast isn't the river, although it might seem like it sometimes - it's your truck.
Ours 5:2.

So you were in my truck for five hours this weekend, and on the river for two? That's weird, because my truck was parked in Kirkland. Seriously, though, we had a nice four hour drive to Squamish and back again. Met up with D1 and a few other folks and boated all day Saturday, with a quick run on Sunday. Partial day Sunday because Tom Bath took me up a multi-pitch on the apron, which needless to say, scared the crap out of me, bit it was fun, nonetheless.

Sounds like both groups had a great time on the river. Right on! It's not a competition....

Sweet you got a nice climbing experience Leif. I also had a scary climbing experience above Behemoth! I can confidently say I almost swam it.

Gordon... do you mean you almost fell in? or was it something else... UUC is a good run for sure, and thats a pretty intimidating horizon line at the behomoth.
