Anyone stopped by for a cupdate? Curious what the level is in there? Too Low? Even for hiking the road if it is still not plowed?
Thanks

yo nick! its nice to know you still kayak. i'll try to head up there tomorrow and get a visual. it snowed quite a bit over the last few days so i would imagine it is still pretty messy up there but don't hold me to it.
i'm down for after work laps up there next week. i'm sure with the warm weather we should be getting pretty close.

Looks like it will come in tomorrow. There was a pic up from 2 weekends ago indicating the road would be clear about now. I did not stop to look on the way home last Sunday evening, because it was snowing....

Took a look at the road on the way home from the pass and it looks like it's still a week or two away from being driveable. Get some motivated folks on the job with some shovels and a rig like James' van and the "one week" estimate is probably about right.
There was significant amount of melt flowing underneath the snowpack pretty much everywhere I looked on Sunday - so it's quite possible that the flows are up enough for some boating, particularly with the warm temps and sunshine.

Was up at the Pass yesterday and the upper part of the road definitely needs another week or two.
But....it looks like the road is clear from the take out to the put in. I couldn't make out if the road was also then clear all the way to the Denny Creek campground. If so, then there might be access now.
I'd hate for anyone to head up based on my iffy beta, but if someone had time on the way up, it might be worth a quick detour up from Denny Creek and report back.

The road at the top of the pass is open, and FITW season is underway. We had great medium flows yesterday, and the run is in great shape.
