He did first descents of Sullivan creek back in the day. It was a pleasure boating with him and sharing my lunch with the kayakers at the bottom of the Monster. Craig from Spokane was on this trip as well. The Becker's rounded out a solid catboating crew! James  (1/13/2012) Sullivan creek in a cat boat? whoa that would be a squeeze in some places!!! franzhorner  (5/1/2012) No no...he was a kayaker back in the day. I believe there is a rapid on Sullivan named after him in Bennett's book. Larry's Ledge? James  (5/1/2012) Larry's Laundrymat I think. It has changed quite a bit but still an interesting little run.
