JP, I will take your picture whenever I want, and under the law have the rights to distribute the image of you in any manner I like. I am the creator of the image so therefor am the sole owner of it until I release rights to someone. The subject of a photograph has now rights to the image unless it has been released to them. This applies to all images even if the photographer was paid unless it is stated in the contract. Essentially you have it ALL wrong. Concerning your verbal attacks on me, not only are they not appreciated but ill advised. We live in a fairly litigious society and you words can be construed ass a threat. You are in fact correct - It didn't cost me anything to produce the photographs. It was taken with an imaginary camera that cost me nothing, this camera uses an imaginary lens and memory card. The computer and editing software that I used were entirely made up and of no value. Lastly, the years of practice and education, and skill that I did not use to take the photographs, have no value what so ever. In fact, according to you experience and skill have no value in the world at all. It makes me wonder why anyone would pay a river guide? The river is free, it doesn't cost the guide anything to take people down the river. It should be done for free for everyone as it has no intrinsic value. The raft and equipment have already been purchased You bring up a very good point JP, you views have completely altered my life. From now on I don't feel it necessary to pay for anything. Thank You - Tobin
